Aeromodelling is great way to get you and your loved ones out of the house and into the skies. By joining the PG Aeromodelers you’ll be able to spend time with your family and meet like-minded people who are passionate about aviation and modelling. Flight Times

Main Flying Field
The main flying field is remote so there are no time restrictions. All valid PG Aeromodeler members have gate keys/codes should the gate be active.

Indoor Flying Field
The indoor flying field is open on Saturdays from 7:00pm to 9:00pm beginning late fall. Please check the “Fields” page for the current status.

 

Recommended Starter Equipment

Please visit your favorite local hobby shop (Interior Hobbies is great) to purchase any of the following recommended starter equipment. If you don’t have a favorite hobby shop, please don’t hesitate to contact us for recommendations. Remember, you do not need to purchase any equipment to try flying with us.

Aircraft

  • Ready to Fly (RTF) bundles includes everything except spare batteries.
  • Bind and Fly (BNF) require you to bind your own DSMX compatible radio to the aircraft and purchase spare batteries.
  • Receiver-Ready (Rx-R) requires you to bind your own SLT compatible radio to the airplane and purchase spare batteries.
  • Almost Ready to Fly (ARF) aka Transmitter-Ready (Tx-R) labeled aircraft require you to install your own receiver of choice and purchase spare batteries.
